Why We Veil
Read some personal testimonies from some amazing women who love to veil.
The first and most important reason I veil is as an outward sign of Jesus’ presence in the Eucharist—His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. Every time I enter a space where He is present, I am reminded to stop, cover my head, and remember who is truly here.
I also veil to follow tradition, as this practice dates back to the first Christian communities and is written about in 1 Corinthians, chapter 11. We also recognize it in the Catholic Church as a sign of women’s sacredness.
In the Church, we veil things of beauty and things that carry life, including the tabernacle and the chalice veil. Women are the crown of creation and are the ones God chose to bear life, and so we humble ourselves in recognition that Christ is even more deserving of glory. For this reason, we veil and cover our own glory.

I veil as an outward sign of my inward devotion to God. It reminds me to approach Him with humility, reverence, and love, especially in His presence. Veiling helps me focus during prayer, setting apart that time as sacred, and it reflects my desire to honor the beauty and dignity God has given me. For me, it’s not just a tradition, but a personal expression of faith, surrender, and deep respect for the Lord. Last year I converted and while I was on my journey to the Easter Vigil I prayed about veiling. In this I felt very compelled to begin veiling and it has helped me to approach prayer and mass in such a deeper way. Veiling has helped me recognize the sacredness of His presence, especially in the Eucharist. I created this brand to share that beauty with others—to invite women to rediscover the sacredness of veiling and to encounter it not just as a tradition, but as a meaningful expression of faith and devotion.
